- I started Faery Tree Creations in 2006, as a way of making a little extra money for Christmas. This was long before I was thinking about a family of my own. In 2015, after finding true love, marrying him, and becoming a step-mother to a cheeky, then 6 year old girl who loves dragon, I started thinking about all the things I wanted for my children, the things I wanted to teach them, and this was when I started to really delve into Waldorf. I love the natural simplicity I was finding in Waldorf crafts and hoped one day to make toys for my own children. Now, with my first baby due in March, my wish will come true. In 2016, I resurrected FTC. This time, not just as a hobby, but as an actual business, with the intent of crafting beautiful, wooden, Waldorf/Montessori inspired toys for all children, not just my own. I hope you'll visit FTC on Etsy - you never know what you're going to find over there to spark your child's creative imagination!

Oh, I know how you feel. I woke up with a cold yesterday too. I hit it hard with Zicam, echinacea, and Airborne. Much better already. Good luck.
Here's to a speedy recovery, Tiff. Colds, sniffles and aches & pains are no picnic to endure.

Thanks everyone...what's that saying - "it's always darkest before the dawn"? I'm hoping that damn dawn comes soon! My nephew told me last night that I sounded like a man...NOT a compliment!
